hot take but prejudice & violence butches, studs, gnc/masc women etc face specifically because of their gender presentation is actually still misogyny. they're not "experiencing homophobia instead of misogyny", they're literally experiencing misogyny (and it is also homophobia, the two are not mutually exclusive). just because feminine women aren't the primary targets of it doesn't make it not misogyny.
this is why when worms for brains people say “women and femmes” like that’s a coherent class it makes me want to scream. you are telling on yourself that you view women and femininity as inextricably linked and ignore the ways in which misogyny is enacted on masculine people of various kinds.... critical thinking please
